Senior Capstone Project

Our team designed and fabricated a high temperature FDM 3D printer with the capabilities of printing engineer grade materials such as Ultem and PEEK. My role as the design engineer involved creating individual subsystems of the printer, manufacturing the necessary parts, and innovating as needed. 

The project won the David Malicky Innovation Award at the 2019 Engineering & Computing Showcase.
